Funeral Costs for Lil Timothy

Timothy was born terminally ill to my niece Simone and her husband Timothy Sr. September 19, 2011. She did not know she was pregnant with him. She went to the hospital because she was bleeding and had severe stomach pains. Timothy was born with severe disabilities and was not expected to survive this long. Lil Timothy, as we affectionately called him was a fighter. We came close to loosing him often times throughout his 6 years of life but, by the grace of God, he fought his way back to us. Simone and Timothy Sr and their other children poured out all their love into lil Timothy. He was the center of their joy. I admired the way Simone, even though lil Timothy had 24 hour nursing care, learned the techniques on how to care for the different things that had to be done so that she could lovingly do it her self.
All week long lil Timothy was struggling desperately to breathe but on Saturday, March 3 at about noon, as she sat rocking him in her arms, she recounted that it seemed like he suddenly had a burst of energy. In her heart she felt that he was going to leave her. She started talking to him, telling him how much she loved him and what a joy it was to be his mother. She told him it was ok, he didn't have to worry about her. If it was time for him to leave she understood and that she would be fine because she knows that he would be with Jesus and aunty Yvonne and Grandma Kelly and aunty Cluck. As his breathing became even more labored later that evening, the nurse recommended that they take him in to the hospital.
She sat with him talking with him and stroking his hands and face until he took his last breath early Monday morning. Unfortunately, they had no life insurance for him as he was born terminally ill.
Simone desires for him to be buried in the same cemetery as her aunty Yvonne and Grandma Kelly and aunty Cluck. We are asking for help for them to lovingly put their beloved son to rest. What I am asking you to give will cover the cost of funeral home and cemetery plot. The funds have to be in for the payments to be made by Thursday, March 15. The Funeral is planned for Saturday, March 17. I am not asking for anything more than the cost of the funeral. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
