Funeral and funeral related cost for Rosita's Son

Donation protected
Dear Outback Community,

Many of you might remember Rosita’s husband, Troy, who passed away last year from cancer suddenly. Now, Rosita has lost her son as well. We cannot even begin to fathom the pain, emotional toll, and financial toll of losing a husband and a son in less than 2 years.

Rosie’s young grandson, sweet brave “B”, tried to revive his father and had to live with the trauma of seeing him pass away. Nobody would ever wish for any child to experience this, nor wish for any mother to lose her son so suddenly.

We are asking for donations to help with the sudden financial burden due to this horrible, sudden tragedy. This will all include and go towards the funeral cost, plane tickets she had to suddenly purchase with no warning, board and stay, and fighting for custody of her grandson due to the sudden, unexpected, and tragic death of her son.

B and Rosie need this service to help them fully mourn and process this tragedy. A child needs the closure to honor his father, and Rosie needs this closure to honor her son.

Troy and Rosita started this group to help dog owners. It started out with a handful of people in need, and exploded from there into the group it is today. They have given up an enormous portion of their lives writing informative files, providing numerous training videos, and volunteering hours upon hours of their free time answering questions for members. Even with the loss of the man who stood by her and was her partner in crime for this group, she chooses to fight on for this group without him in honor of him.

Now she needs your help. She needs our help in this tragic time in her life. For those of you who don’t know Rosie, she is not the type of individual to even think of “troubling” or "inconveniencing" people by asking for any type of help. She is a strong, independent woman who has helped so many children, people, and dogs. She has helped them through terrible, horrible situations, and fought to find them a better life. She is not one to tell you how much good she has done nor brag about it, nor how much light Troy and she has shone upon many members in this group.

But, we will ask for her, especially during this critical time in need. Rosie is a kind, generous woman who, despite having gone through so much in her life, continues to push on and help others even when she is going through a tough time herself. The world needs more Rosies, and in the darkest of times, she needs this community.

We understand many of you have had a tough year, and many have not been through good times (or are currently still experiencing bad times). 2020 has not been kind to many people, and we empathize with this. We are asking, if you are able to, to lend a hand if you can. There are 50k members here, and every little bit right now will help.

We want to thank all of you for your support to Rosie during the loss of her husband, and now through the loss of her son. Again, we cannot fathom the emotional and financial toll this has taken on Rosita, but we as a community want to stand up to help her through this time of need as she has helped many of us through ours.

Every little bit helps, even by sharing this with others who may be able or willing to help.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

The Outback Dog Training Team
