It's with a heavy heart that we share that our father, Mauricio Hernandez passed away yesterday unexpectedly. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a great self-taught musician admired by many. Things of this nature are always unexpected and any donation, no matter the amount, helps with the burial of our father. He had always been the pillar of strength for our family and knew how to comfort us in any troubling situation. Anyone that knew my dad, can tell you that he never complained, never expressed anger, and his heart was filled with tenderness. We learned how to embrace humility because dad was the prime example of what it was the be humble. His love, affection, and consoling conversations were worth more to us than any material gift that he could have given us. Dad finally got to experience what being a grandpa was like and my sister and I can say with all sincerity, that our babies had the best and most loving grandfather. He loved them with all his heart and their hearts lit up when they would see him. Dad was an angel and worked hard until his last breath, still playing as a mariachi at 74 years old. He deserves a proper burial and farewell and we would like to honor him with the help of anyone willing to donate. Thank you all for your time and help during this grieving time.
