My heart breaks as I announce the passing of my beloved father, Anastacio.
My family and I are overwhelmed with sorrow as we say goodbye to our dearest tatay but we are comforted with the assurance that he will join our father in heaven. My father was baptized into Christ a couple of weeks before He passed away.
Once again I am knocking on your generous and compassionate hearts. It is with terrible shame and embarrassment that I confess that my family and I are not financially prepared for his passing. I belong to a very poor family in the Philippines. And although I live in the United States, I do not earn enough to shoulder my father’s burial expenses even the most basic.
This has been a wake-up call to me and my family. I have learned a valuable lesson on financial responsibility and moving forward will take actions to prevent this from happening.
In the meantime, I would like to humbly appeal to you and your friends. Please help me raise enough money to give my father a decent burial, a burial he deserves.
