Funds for Firefighter David Mason

The Coopers Mills Volunteer Fire Department is asking for help for one of their firefighters, David Mason who is only 25 years old. He has been diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer. David has never smoked a day in his life. David and his family are no strangers to the ravenges of cancer. When David was only 5 years old he lost his dad to cancer. David's father Scott, was deputy chief for the same dept that David now serves on. David joined the dept. as a junior firefighter at the age of only 14 years old, he has since completed fire fighter 1 and 2 and has also become an EMT. David has served his community for almost a decade, now he is in need of help. He is not able to work, he is having chemo treatments, he has been in and out of the hospital with complications due to the cancer. They have incured medical expenses, unplanned travel expenses on top of their every day household expenses. We would like to be able to ease the financial burden this has put onto him and his family.
