<div>Hi my name is joanna..we're do i start just writing and sharing our experience as a family and my daughters journey is truly heartbreaking. So here we go our daughter sharelle who is just 7 year's old she is beautiful kind caring and truly courageous so brave. Sadly on the 15th of march 2024 sharelle became very unwell. And as parent's our worst fears had become known sharelle was tested for cancer ..our journey doesn't just start here..Sharelle was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and after a 3 year treatment and battle we had the all clear was words we never imagined hearing ..we was diagnosed during covid pandemic that was extremely difficult. after going back to school enjoying the beach even the simple things like bottled water that used to be a risk when neutrepnic. On the 15th march 2024 we received devastating results sharelle has a secondary cancer ACUTE MYELOID LEUKAEMIA FLT3-ITD HIGH RISK after her first battle we never imagined being here again sharelle is truly inspirational this time round are risks are higher and sharelle will need a bone marrow transplant for best outcome and high dose chemotherapy this means we will spend the 6months in hospital with very little chance of being able to go home. For a while this is for sharelles safety and infection risk sharelle needs to be in good health for transplant at bristol hospital. Whilst being in hospital sharelle has access to amazing opportunitys like enjoying the playroom taking part in activities and support from the play staff music teacher therapy dogs latch and amazing care from the nurses and doctors..at just 7 imagine having all your freedom restricted again no school no park riding your bike sleep overs with your best friends birthday party's. Because during treatment no just leukaemia but infection can kill .we have a long journey ahead and have set this fund raiser up for help with costs towards transplant at bristol and funds for whilst in hospital with the cost of living on the increase times are very difficult..no matter how small or big we would be truly greatfull for any donations during this difficult time..no child should have to face cancer and for sharelle this isn't her first time here..she has shown so much strength courage and bravery and above all is a truly inspirational little girl please show your support for our warrior daughter.
