Funds to buy materials for Salisbury Makers Hub
Donation protected
The purpose of Salisbury Makers Hub is to bring together local makers so we can support our essential workers whilst supplies are difficult to come by.
Our original aim was to provide smaller items like scrub bags and scrub hats for our local hospital settings and the bags, masks and ear savers for any of our community settings who are in need.
We have had such an amazing response from makers all over Salisbury that we are now able to make scrubs for local care settings.
We are all volunteers and so operation depends on generosity and goodwill - many of us have raided our stashes and airing cupboard and some have felt able to purchase material to be used.
We need to source fabrics where we can and when we receive a donation of fabric we offer these out to those who want to sew so as many people as possible can be involved.
To keep going, we need more fabric, thread, tape, elastic and this is where we need help. If you can't help by making, a small donation will help to buy supplies that cannot be sourced from donations.
Thank you.
