My name is Ginger Dubuque, and I’m fundraising for my adopted son, William Cullum, and his wife, Briana, during an unimaginable crisis.

Just days ago, William was working under the vehicle that he and Briana currently live in, when it suddenly collapsed — crushing the left side of his body and face, leaving him critically injured. He lost a significant amount of blood, passed out, and had to be resuscitated on the scene before being airlifted to the hospital.

He is now in critical but stable condition and has been placed in a medically induced coma to help him breathe and begin the long journey toward healing.

William suffered:

A crushed face and broken facial bones.

A broken clavicle, sternum and ribs.

Damage to his left ear which will require reconstructive surgery.

Multiple other severe traumas requiring multiple surgeries and rehabilitation.

On top of this, William and Briana were already facing extreme hardship — they have been living in the very vehicle he was working on when the accident happened. William recently lost his job, making their situation even more fragile.

This fundraiser is to provide a hand up in their greatest time of need.

Temporary housing for William and Briana during his recovery.

Food and basic needs for Briana while she remains at the hospital by William’s side.

Medical expenses and rehabilitation support as William begins to heal.
