Funds for Trap Neuter Return

Hello! We’re the Lockhart Lionhearts. A small group of volunteers (soon to be a 501c3 non profit) who TNR (trap, neuter, return) the community cats of our small Texas town Lockhart. We also care for our community cats after they’ve been spayed or neutered by feeding them daily & attending to their medical needs. 
    There are more cats in our community that need to be TNRd. Kitten season in 2021 will see more kittens than usual due to Covid 19 closing some low cost spay & neuter clinics. We can still help ease the stress of our surrounding shelters & rescue organizations by preventing future litters.
     A kitten can start having her own kittens by the young age of 4-5 months. A female cat can have up to 100 kittens in her life time. Kittens born on our streets will either parish, find their way into an already packed shelter, or grow up on the streets to have more kittens repeating the cycle. Every litter we’re able to prevent allows us to save lives. 
     All funds earned from this go fund me will go directly to TNRing the community cats of Lockhart, Texas. The cat pictured is one of our community cats, Ollie. Being returned to his colony after his neutering this week.
