PLEASE HELP MY MOM!!!
My step dad as never really been sick, he has always took care of everyone else. He retired and decided to make sure my mom had health insurance and thought he would save money by him not getting any. Well He got sick the beginning of 2018 came up to Arkansas for my sons high school graduation and never made it to that. He got put in the hospital a day after being here in May and was diagnosed with stage 4 esophagus cancer.
He has been in and out of the hospital, cancer center, tried two different chemo's, radiation, and some other form of cancer treatment. He has been on a feeding tube since May also.With that being said this week he wasn't feeling good went to the er his organs starting failing and he passed about 48 hours later.
We were hoping for a better outcome but God had other plans. The only think I can say is he isn't suffering anymore.
The hospitals and doctors have been wonderful trying to do what they can to help with bills and give discounts but I'm sure we haven't even got everything in and his medical expenses are still way over 100,000.00.
Any little bit would be appreciated my parents have helped me all my life and I'm trying to do all I can, but unfortunately this I cant do all on my own.
