Funds for migrants without access to public funds

Donation protected
As a result of the government’s ‘No Recourse to Public Funds’ policy, most migrants are not entitled to any benefits or financial support. The government’s hostile environment policy also stops many people seeking help and support, as this could lead to their detention or deportation. As a result, this is a really difficult time for many migrants, particularly people with insecure immigration status. This Fund for migrants without access to public funds goes directly to the people who need it to give emergency financial support.

Liverpool Migrant Solidarity Network is a collective of people working together to resist the hostile environment that migrants face in our city & beyond. We do this by linking with vital local services working with migrants. We are aware through our networks of many individuals and families who cannot access help because of their NRPF status, and therefore are in acute need of financial support.

This campaign is raising money to offer some much needed support to those who the current system is failing. We work with people applying for the fund to work out how much they need. This includes food, utility bills, medicines, or anything else people may need support with, like urgent legal costs.
