On March 12, 2018 the Mullhi family experienced a devastating tragedy. Manjit Kaur, her 5 yr old and 2 year old grandsons were walking to school and were struck by a car at 8:17 am on Ridgeview drive in Abbotsford. Manjit Kaur who was in her late sixties and the 5 year old boy were seriously injured.
The 2 year old boy had minor injuries and is doing well. After 2.5 weeks of fighting for her life Manjit Kaur passed away in hospital on Wednesday March 28th 2018. She was visiting from India and spending time with her daughter and family. She would walk the 5 year old to school and take the younger grandson to StrongStart most days.
The 5 year old child has a leg injury and is in a wheelchair, while healing from surgery and will be going through rehab for walking. Mom is at home full time to help support her son in his long journey to recovery. The Mullhi family need any support you can provide to help them during this tough time.
Currently the family is dealing with the loss of Manjit Kaur and medical, funeral and living costs.
