Funds for Fire Damaged Homes

I created a Facebook page called North Motherwell Community Group.

Tonight, 2 families homes were set on fire by stray fireworks and have damaged both homes within my community.

I’m asking the residents of North Motherwell and hopefully beyond to step up and help out these 2 families try and get back to normal life with having to deal with their tragedies!

When it comes to giving over the monies to both families it will be split evenly among them both to help buy items to restart their lives again.

This will be done by myself and a couple of members from my group when handing the cash over to Mhairi MacLennan and Nicola Cowan who are the ladies who are the owners of the homes that have been destroyed in the fires. The money will go towards buying new goods for their homes along with buying clothes and anything that they will need to get back to some sort of normality. It would also, I hope, bring them some cheer at Christmas time too because they have lost their entire worlds in this horrendous tragedy.

My community really do appreciate any help they can get to make 2 families feel normal again!
