Funds for Curtis Baker medical care

On Sunday April 8th while Curtis was at his second home, the gym, training Jiu Jitsu he began having tell-tale signs of a stroke that were immediately recognized by his training partners and he was quickly transported to Foothills Medical Center in Calgary.  Curtis is physically in great shape but will need to work with the stroke specialists to repair the damage caused by the stroke. 

Curtis is prohibited from driving for at least 30 days and as a result will be unable to generate income for the foreseeable future.  He is the only employee of the small Gas Fitting business that he owns and operates.  At the moment there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the long term effects of the stroke and how long it will take to repair what has been damaged.  

One thing that is very clear from my visits with Curtis thus far is that all his intelligence remains, the knowledge is still in his head, crossed wires make it hard for him to convey what he thinks but I have a lot of hope he will recover very close to 100% with time and rehabilitation.
