Audrey Grace’s Fight Against ADEM

The Poteet Family is a family of eight (8) that has six (6) children varying in ages from 2 to 16 (with two sets of twins).  Audrey Grace is a vibrant 16 year old that became suddenly ill last Friday while camping.  She is now in Penn State Children’s Hospital Intensive Care Unit on life sustaining equipment.  Audrey has been diagnosed with Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM).  ADEM is characterized as a widespread attack of inflammation in the brain and spinal cord that damages myelin - the protective covering of nerve fibers.  The road ahead has been said to be very long and intensive.  The family is in immediate need of assistance to help offset medical expenses, travel expenses, lost wages, child care costs and other urgent needs as they arise.  If you can assist in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
