Fundraising for additional risers and boost general funds

Harmony Inspires is a successful Barbershop Chorus based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire who perform songs in four-part harmony in a wide variety of styles, from musicals and pop classics to beautiful ballads.

We formed in 2007, and have since grown to around 50 members from all around Oxfordshire. Our singers come from all walks of life but are united in an enjoyment of music making.

Our membership continues to grow and this has meant that the staging, known as ‘risers’ we stand on to rehearse and perform is sadly now too small to comfortably and safely house us.

Harmony Inspires has always been able to self fund, with the help and support of chorus members, family & friends.

However, this year, with the rising cost of living and the high cost of addition risers, we have taken the decision to reach out for some much needed financial assistance. In addition to purchasing new risers, we hope to boost our funds generally so that in the future we can buy new performance costumes and music to perform.
