Fundraising in memory of Mandy Islam

Hi all,
In July 2015, my sister was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma. However, the Myeloma presented itself with complexity and therefore, Mandy was the 13th person in the world to have it formed in this way.
Instead of caving in, Mandy picked herself up and decided to do something about it.
Mandy dedicated her time by setting up a support group on Facebook called Cancer Warrior Diaries, founded the Chronic Conditions and Disability in Defence and was a Help for Hero’s Ambassador.
During Mandy’s cancer journey, she had the support of her family and friends but most importantly she recognised the work of Delete Blood Cancer and Macmillan Cancer support.
Today, it marks the first year of Mandy’s passing to clouds in the sky.
In memory, I will be virtually cycling/running/walking Route 66 (2,280 miles) over 50 weeks which averages 45 miles a week. However, the cycling will be done through spin classes - a selection of hill climbs, tabata, HIIT classes etc (no easy feat having had two knee surgeries).
Il be logging the miles on the platform called “virtual mission”.
The three charities that have been chosen are: Delete Blood Cancer, Macmillan and Hollyhedge animal charity (Mandy had a love for animals - especially her dog/wingman, Freddie who lives with us)
