This all started as a personal challenge for me. Since I've never run more than a 10k, I thought turning 40 next year would be the perfect chance to give the Cardiff Half Marathon a go on Sunday, 5th October. Plus, I figured it would be a great way to support ValePlus while I'm at it!

I work for a small charity based in Barry and Llantwit that supports incredible adults with additional learning needs. These individuals are truly inspiring and consistently bring joy to those around them. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where they can develop their social, communication, and vocational skills, which boosts their self-esteem and confidence and enhances their quality of life.
