The Ruddington U10’s Blacks (with parents and siblings) will be taking on a sponsored 7-mile hike in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside – including the stunning Thor’s Cave – to raise much-needed funds for our team!

Like many grassroots sports teams, we’ve been hit hard by rising costs for pitch hire, equipment, and kits. We want to make sure that every child in our squad can keep playing, regardless of family circumstances, and that we can continue to provide them with the best coaching, facilities, and opportunities.

Our boys are dedicated, turning up week after week in all weathers, giving 100% in training and matches. This hike is our way of showing just how committed we are – not just to football, but to each other as a team.

Every penny raised will go directly towards keeping football inclusive and affordable, covering essential expenses such as training gear, matchday costs, and tournaments – so no one gets left on the sidelines.
