The Nyman boys lost their dad, Matthew Nyman, on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021.
Matt was a special operations wounded warrior and amputee, with a mission to climb all seven summits. During a practice climb, with his two partners, he was killed in a avalanche while climbing a steep couloir on Bear Mountain in Alaska.
Donations will go directly to his children, Maddox and Aiden, who plan to visit Bear Mountain to honor their fathers memory.
My sister, Martha, has been an inspirational mother and care-giver since Matt's injury 15 years ago. She now cares for her two sons by herself. Any additional funds received will be used towards Aiden and Maddox's education.
