Fundraising for Somali Victims

My name is Rayanne, I'm from London and me along with 9 friends have pledged to raise this money for Somali Youth for Integrity (SYFI) who will send the money directly to Somalia through the charity African relief fund http://www.arf.org.uk with the somali foreign minister overseeing the transaction to ensure the money goes directly to Mogadishu. Mariam Ahmed has been added as a beneficiary, she is one of my friends who i pledged to raise money with. She will transer the money directly from her account to SYFI.

As you all may already know , on the 14th of October Somalia was hit with the deadliest attack in its history killing nearly 300 people while estimates say the casualties are already close to 500. Hospitals are also over-extended with little equipment meaning they are struggling to treat victims who many of whom are suffering from severe burn injuries. As a result we want to raise funds not only to hospitals but to ambulance services which have been working tirelessly around the clock for free and provide financial Aid as well as providing basic necessities (which include clothes, life packs and sanitation tools) to those that have been greatly affected by this tragedy

As the Prophet (SAW) said no wealth (of a servant of Allah) is decreased because of charity. (Al Tirmidhi, Hadith No.2247)

We therefore urge you today to donate as much as you can as all donations matter and will make all the difference to those who greatly need it.
