Rev. Violet Olorunfunmi Kainwo (younger sister to Mr. Samuel Walker, Mr. Desmond Walker, Rev. Dr. Olivia Wesley, Ms. Priscilla Walker and Mr. Raymond Walker), is presently in a coma and was  admitted to the intensive care unit at the Choithram Hospital, Freetown, Sierra Leone on Sunday October 14th, 2018.  Doctors have advised she be air lifted via Flying Doctors Air Ambulance with a dedicated medical crew for brain surgery.

BIOGRAPHY
An inspiring pastor, Vio has been a shoulder to cry on by many.  She was born in Murray Town and grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone.  She is an alumna of the Murray Town Elementary School, Annie Walsh Memorial School, and the Milton Margai Teachers College, College of Theology and Management, and Njala University. As a school teacher, she taught at the Govt Municipal Secondary School, YWCA Vocational Institute, International School Ltd, both at Primary and Secondary levels. She was also a lecturer at the New Life Bible College, and also at the College of Theology and Management.  During the war, she relocated to Abidjan, Ivory Coast together with her husband (Rev. Moses T. Kainwo) and her children (Jeelo & Jeeta Kainwo). She continued pastoral duties with her husband at the IPCA Church in Abidjan. Upon her return to Sierra Leone, she worked as a Reverend Minister in various Methodist societies and the New Life Ministries, Headquarters. She is also a seamstress and a caterer. She has touched many lives with her contagious laughter and empathy for others.

THE SHOCK AND CONCERN
Rev. Kainwo fell on the morning of Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at home before she could leave for worship service.  Apparently her pressure had gone up and she suffered aneurysm and is currently in a coma. Help is needed now because the care needed is not available in Sierra Leone according to her neurosurgeon.

Some of you know what this means to us at this time and your assistance will go a long way to help with her care and ongoing medical expenses.  We are going through tough times now and hope the good samaritan will stop by and add some water to the bucket so that it can get to $100,000.

I am taking this challenge to help my mother in raising the funds for my aunt's evacuation and to get her better medical help.  If you would like to donate via check in the United States, kindly drop us a message and we will contact you.
