Fundraising for Nicole / Moth+Metal

My wife Nicole underwent an emergency appendectomy on June 13, 2018. She received severe mistreatment in hospital and the discrimination of her being a visibly tattooed female led to infection in her right quadrant being neglected by staff until it was so wide spread she landed in ICU. From there, she witnessed and underwent abuse and an early release. At this time we cannot disclose much of this incident or what resulted but are seeking legal repercussion for malpractice and criminal basis.

With Canadian systems differing from American, this will cost us an upfront retainer of $10,000.
At this time Nicole cannot work and will not be returning to work for a minimum of 8-12 more weeks totalling 5 months. She also requires psychiatric treatment for severe trauma and PTSD which is private care.

We have 4 children, 3 of whom live under our rook and one son diagnosed autistic at age 10 via Shoniker clinic in Toronto at hospital. Selling our home would have a traumatic effect on our family and will be used only as a last resort in moving forward. Your donations will be used to cover what we are financially unable in order to stay afloat.
