<div>Hello everyone, as you may know My name is Daisy. I have worked in special needs for over a decade and have witnessed the lack of funding for children who would tremdously benefit from this. I am starting this Gofundme, because this time it home. My nephew was diagnosed with level 3 Autism. He is the sweetest little boy, and it breaks my heart for him not to be able to communicate the way wants to, which leads to several episodes of screaming, hitting, biting etc... now I believe if he had the opportunity to get ABA therapy which stands for Applied Behaviour Analysis he would be progressing tremendously. It is a therapy that is used for children who are on the spectrum and it has had an amazing turn out in terms of behaviors, communication and so forth. Years ago it was covered until it was taken away by Doug Ford. I won't get into that but what I will say is he took freedom away  from my nephew and thousands of children out there in Ontario alongside their parents. It breaks my heart to see it every day while I'm at work, but what hits me internally is that my sister is taking care of him as a single mother and he is 5 years old. ABA therapy is not affordable to single mother who struggling to get by on a daily basis. Seeing her break down every day, makes me feel like I should be able to try to do something so that her son has a better quality of life and actually has a chance to do big things in this world. ABA therapy costs anywhere between $100-$250 CAD per hour and he would need at least 25 -40 sessions to begin with and will be evaluated throughout the process. If we all come together as family and friends, we can make this happen. I know its hard to physically be there to help, but this will make such a difference in both of their lives. Every step is a baby step, and we will get there. I appreciate all your help in advance and you have no idea of what a world of a difference you would be making to my sweet, innocent nephew.
