Jada’s story:

Jada first came to Little Heart K9 for daycare and boarding during a very difficult time in her owners’ life.  Even though a discounted rate was given for her boarding fees, due to circumstances beyond her owners control, they were unable to pay.  Over the next several months, there were ongoing difficulties, it was in Jada’s best interest that we continue to help by boarding Jada.  Through no fault of her own, Jada has been surrendered to Little Heart K9 and is now available for adoption.  For nearly a year, we opted not to publicly request any funds for Jada’s care.  In addition to seeking an adopter for Jada, we are asking for donations to recover Jada's boarding fees, food, and veterinary care.  Your support for Jada helps Little Heart K9 continue to help dogs in need.

Jada is a friendly female four year old Heeler mix.  Her estimated date of birth is June 17, 2015, she is a black and white bobtail, spayed, and vaccinated.  Jada gets along with other dogs, and will do better with a calm pack with well balanced pack members.  She takes verbal correction well and is eager to please.  Jada would not do well with cats.  She is very affectionate with her humans, food motivated, and would love to expand her world with coffee on a restaurant patio, long walks, and she would likely enjoy hiking/camping.  Jada is an indoor dog that is housebroken and kennel trained.  If Jada is adopted in the Green Valley, AZ area, Little Heart K9 will sponsor a basic obedience class with local dog trainer, Jill Cruz Dog Training, LLC.  The class is a good bonding opportunity, and will give Jada and her adopter a good foundation.

Thank you, from Jada, Laura, and the pack at Little Heart K9.
