Fundraising for Fire-Ravaged Neighb

On the morning of July 2, several properties on 18th Street NE were consumed by a devastating fire. The residents are all safely accounted for, however some households have tragically lost all of their possessions. Many of you have kindly offered to make contributions toward helping them get back on their feet.
We immediate neighbors are raising funds for Rhoda and Kelly (314 18th Street NE), who have been a fixture in the neighborhood for decades. For those of you who know them, you have come to know their generosity and their love for organizing annual neighborhood get-togethers and for decorating for all of the holidays. The funds raised through this campaign will permit them to buy basic necessities, clothing, and housewares.
Any amount would be appreciated and we will ensure that the family receives all of the contributions.
