The Chugiak community lost a dad on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
Tom was an enthusiastically welcoming person and an experienced mountaineer. He and 2 climbing partners were killed by an avalanche while climbing a steep couloir on Bear Mountain above Mirror Lake. He will be missed by many.
Tom was the breadwinner for the family and any donations will go directly to his wife and 3 daughters.
