Fundraising for Education with Love Support Unite

This October, I will be volunteering with Love Support Unite (LSU) in Malawi to help train Malawian teachers in order to set up a nursery and a primary school using the Cambridge Curriculum.
Back in 2012, I visited Malawi and volunteered for a month helping in orphanages, schools and hospitals with LSU. Now, years later and after finishing my degree in Early Childhood Education, my PGCE in Primary School Teaching and currently studying a Masters in Education, I am grateful to have the opportunity and time to help train Malawian women in the Rainbow play ECD approach. The training will allow the women to continue to excel after I depart, offering the children a chance of a better education. This will have an enormous impact on the lives of these children, teachers and the economy and I hope this will help many schools to be sustainable and prosperous in Malawi.
Alice and Nina Pulford, the founders of LSU are a grass root charity changing lives everyday through sustainable development. They partner with communities in Malawi to break the cycle of poverty with a leg-up rather than a hand-out. Their mission is to establish small scale projects which can be sustained and replicated throughout Malawi to trigger change on a large scale and perhaps replicated in other third world countries like Malawi. It is of course with great pleasure I am extremely keen to give my time to help them make a difference.
In order to fund my trip and support myself financially I have been working and saving for the last few months. I would however be extremely grateful if you could donate anything to help me fundraise towards the set up of the school, the training of the Malawian teachers, and to ensure that the school flourishes, all thanks to this incredible charity.
