Het Dooorp (the Village) is a group of young creators, artists, and organizers hosting free weekly events around The Hague.

Prior to this fundraising, we’ve done everything voluntarily. Local artists, designers, DJs, and chefs come together to organize day and night activities—sharing our music, food, and various medium of art across the city, especially through the weekly events at our home bases LaakBar and De Bootjes. 

We believe culture and art should be accessible, no matter who you are or what your wallet says. We’re committed to inclusive, low-threshold events in collaboration with other cultural organizations and local creatives whilst maintaining the best quality.

To sustain Dooorp, we need your support. Your donations will fund:

• tools and materials (tech like speakers, mixers, mics, cables available for artists and musicians to use in our events)

• free events for the upcoming season (accessible and affordable)

• fair payment for artists, designers, DJs, and chefs (we believe all labor deserves fair compensation)

If you do not have the funds to donate for now, sharing this fundraising will greatly help fuel a free, vibrant, open, and accessible cultural scene in The Hague.
