<div>The Canowindra Lion's Club is raising funds to replace our out dated 1966 catering van which is no longer suitable for regular community use. Earlier this year our Lion's Club entered into a agreement with a company to build and supply a new catering van and after years of fund-raising we paid <strong>$36,000</strong> towards the van project. <em>Shocking</em>

<div><em>just days later after we paid the company they went into liquidation</em>. The money has been lost and the Lion's Club doesn't have a usable catering van to continue our crucial work in our community such as Driver Revive plus many other community functions; we use the van to raise funds to support our local community plus Lions Foundation Charities. It's deeply disappointing that a community volunteer group could be treated this way. The Canowindra Lion's Club has been providing vital support to the Canowindra community for nearly 60 years catering for local events and fund-raising and emergency response efforts. A new catering van will allow our Lion's volunteers to continue to carry out our important community work safety and efficiency. All donations will go directly towards the purchase of a new catering van. Your contribution is greatly appreciated and will help Canowindra Lion's Club get back on the road to continue our service to our community. Thank you so very much for any assistance.
