Baby Adrian's VSD & ASD Heart Surgery Fundraiser

In July 2020, my sweet nephew (now 3 months old), Adrian Michael Aquino, was born with two holes in his heart and diagnosed with the heart defects VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) and ASD (Atrial Septal Defect).
The Cardiologists informed his parents (Maria and Anthony Aquino) that one of the 2 holes in his heart is larger and needed open heart surgery soon to close it before it gets tougher for his heart to pump blood. Since birth, he has been on medication to help get the extra fluids in his lungs removed.
Over time, we prayed the holes would close on their own. Unfortunately Adrian's VSD hole never closed up and his other left chamber hole actually dilated larger. With the difficult decision, they have decided to go through with surgery as soon as possible due to the state of his defects.
Adrian will be receiving open heart surgery at Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City on Thursday, October 1st, 2020 at 7:30 a.m. in efforts to close the punctures.
These funds will help The Aquino Family with medical expenses, time away from home while in the hospital, necessities, food and lodging since with their insurance and the pandemic, they are unable to have family in the hospital or receive special housing. We are planning up to 2 weeks just in case for his recovery.
