Fundraiser to help pay for my Mom's brain surgery

On November 20th, 2020, it felt like the world came crashing down when my mom, Lorri Thomas, had to be rushed to the hospital unable to speak, unable to remember, unable to comprehend, and losing strength. She’s in a hospital in Tampa, an hour and a half from home. After much testing, the neurologist there found two tumors in the middle of her brain. My dad, alone, is able to be with her, but no one else can visit her - and he can only stay during visitation hours. She can’t remember a lot of things, dates, my kids names, the year, where she is. She’s struggling with memory loss, major confusion, and massive headaches..and these tumors are to blame.

It was mentioned by the Doctors that these tumors/lesions are not typical in MS patients, and are usually seen in Cancer.

The only way to find out for sure is for them to take them out and test them.

Surgery is scheduled for Monday, 11/23/2020. They said it is possible for her to have resulting speech problems, or trouble with moving her right side - both of which will require extensive therapies and a lot of time and effort.

She lost her job, and they are dependent solely on my Dad's income. His income alone will not be able to cover all of these costs without your help.
