Victor Mora's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Dad was first diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of cancer that starts in the blood cells, back in 2010. He made treatment with cancer look so easy with having little to no side effects. Dad was always smiling and thanking God for the opportunity given to continue spending time with his family and friends. Dad fought the treatment valiantly and was in complete remission for 4 years. In 2014, the Lymphoma returned and he was just as determined as the first time to beat the cancer. We continued to support him and continued to thank God for letting him be part of our lives. In 2014 the oncologists deemed him clear of cancer with a high probability of it returning. In January of 2017 the Lymphoma returned, this time it was more aggressive, because the disease had become resistant to the treatments and cycles. After numerous visits to UMass Medical School and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Dad was cleared under partial remission, meaning that he could take a break from treatment as long as the cancer did not begin to grow again. On October 22, 2017, dad took his last breath and was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

The last 10 months have not been easy by any means, but the loving support from all of our family and friends have made this journey easier. There are no words or actions that can express the magnitude of appreciation that we have received from each and every one of you over the past 7 years.

Dad was truly an inspiration to everyone around him. He was a hard working father who lived for his family and he will be truly missed. Dad leaves behind his wife, Reyna, 3 sons, Wil, Allan and Axl, 3 grandkids, Daniela, Andres and Eric and his loyal dog-friend, Loki, all of whom he loved dearly.

I am blessed to call Victor my father and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to be by his side through the tough times.

This fundraiser is to help raise money for the funeral expenses. Any amount is truly appreciated. Remaining donations will go towards Beacon Hospice, who have been tremendous in supporting our needs and helping us get through this time.

Rest in Peace, Dad. Pura Vida.
