Fundraiser for Unexpected Passing of Wendy Burton

Wendy Burton, a long standing part of the GW Dermatology family, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on 9/16/2020. Wendy was a dedicated, loving mother, wife, sister, friend and colleague.
Wendy was a shining light within the Department of Dermatology at the GW Medical Faculty Associates/School of Medicine and Health Sciences that could make any of us smile, feel confident, nurtured, and supported. Since her death, our team has approached me with countless stories and remembrances of Wendy and the love that everyone has for her. She will be missed by all but her memory will live forever.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Wendy’s daughters to help with any costs that the family will incur. It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. We are thankful for any financial support you may be able to provide.
