Fundraiser for Thor's ER Bills

About a month ago I awoke to my Akita, Thor, having seizures. I took him to the vet and he was put on anti- seizure medicine that severely weakened his back legs. Thor is 160 pounds so it was imperative to figure out the cause of the seizures and treat it so he could walk again. During the process of testing for the cause, a cancerous mass was found in or near his lung. While waiting for the biopsy result to confirm the type of cancer, Thor nearly collapsed at home and had to be taken to the ER. As the doctor bluntly put it, Thor was dying from sudden fluids in his lung caused by part of the mass. Thor had to undergo emergency surgery and the surgery was longer and harder than expected, but he got through it. Thor is on the path to recovery but now we have over $13K in medical bills. I work for the county so it's not like I'm rolling in dough. Further, although the mass has been extracted, there's still more bills in the future. I also am renting a wheelchair ramp so Thor can get off the porch to go potty. My friend and I plan on having a Happy Hour Fundraiser in August where I will commit to buying each person who donates $10 a beer. Donate $20 and you get two beers and so on and so forth. Once the date and bar are finalized, there will be a FB Invite. Donate $10 on here and then go to Happy Hour and I will also honor the one beer for each $10 donated. I rarely ask for help. But Thor is truly my best friend and there was no question that I had to go forward with his treatments and surgery. But now this bill and future bills have me scared to death. Any amount helps and nothing is too small. Thank you.
