On the 13th of April at 10.40pm our hero Micky Bennett gained his angel wings after the most courageous of battles
The strength and courage that Micky and his family have shown in his fight against cancer has been nothing short of inspirational.
Our Micky did nothing 'by the book' and his whole fight was done 'Micky's way' and what a fight he gave....right up to the very end Micky was a warrior with the purest of souls - even when incredibly poorly himself he still took it upon himself to help others launching 'Micky's Christmas Wish' asking people to gift Christmas gifts to the children on his ward or items for the playroom. Micky's strength and bravery literally knew no bounds and his story and the way his amazing family have dealt with it has touched so many peoples hearts. The whole community is grieving with them
Micky's funeral will be held on the 26th of April and the family would like to invite you all to celebrate Micky's life. While we cannot in any way take away the tremendous pain that the family are feeling, We are hoping that we all can help Lisa and Dave alleviate some of the financial stress of funeral costs.
Let's all come together and show them how much Micky is loved and help give him the BEST send off that he truly deserves.
