Loving Tessa Rhodes

I’ve started this gofundme for one of my dearest friends, Tessa Rhodes. If you know her then like me you love her very much. She is one of the most honest, tell it like it is, hardworking, loyal and loving people I’ve ever known. I’m heartbroken to say that Tessa has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. If all goes well she will be undergoing surgery then chemo treatments. She will need to have 3/4 of her stomach removed along with 7 ulcers, and is currently waiting to find out if a growth on her liver is cancer as well.  If her liver is cancerous, she will be put at stage 4 and unable to complete the surgery, as well as a different plan will be in order. If her liver is clear, then she is at a hopeful stage 2 and will have the surgery completed on Sept 26th.  Her doctors have told her she will be unable to work during her surgery, recovery, and treatment time so she is looking at a minimum of several months out of work, and unfortunately it could easily go longer. Her wife Joey will continue working as well as care for Tess during her recovery, but honestly Tessa’s income will be impossible to replace. Tessa is one of the hardest working people I have ever known. She cannot wrap her head around being unable to work and provide, and has been under tremendous stress trying to figure out what to do while she’s sick.
