FUNDRAISER FOR STEVE BAAL AND FAMILY
On July 16th, Steve Baal suffered a brain aneurysm. He has been flown to Vancouver Hospital and unwent emergency surgery this morning. He is currently in stable condition, but it will be a long road ahead through the healing process.
Christine and Steve are the first to volunteer their time at any event, and there's no better time than now for us to pay it forward. They will most likely require financial assistance with medical expenses and living expenses, and funds to cover the travel costs to and from Vancouver. It may be some time before either of them can get back to work.
Friends of Steve and Christine are organizing a fundraiser event at the Slocan Legion Hall - there will be live music and silent auction. Please come and show your support:
