This is a photo of our brother-in-law, Kurt Vogt, with our beautiful nieces, Alyssa and Mikayla, and our sister Stefanie – she is the amazing mother of this wonderful family.
The world lost a truly remarkable father, husband, brother, son, uncle and friend this week in Kurt Vogt. Kurt was a gentle giant and larger-than-life guy – he illuminated rooms, made people laugh, projected warmth and friendship, and was just a genuine guy all around. If you ever met Kurt, you certainly wouldn’t forget him!
We are at a loss of Kurt’s passing earlier this week, and his family is clearly devastated.
Jeff and I are both blessed fathers of two wonderful children each, and we benefited so much from having Stefanie as a caring and loving sister growing up. Because of the tremendous responsibility that our sister will take on as a single parent, we are establishing this GoFundMe account to help Mikayla to start her college career next fall, Alyssa to finish college, and, of course, Stefanie with the many immediate needs she will surely face in the coming days, weeks and months.
