Fundraiser for COVID-19 Hospital Safety Equipment

My name is Adi Patro, and my fellow classmate Justin Xu and I, who are juniors at Parkway West High School, are organizing a fundraiser for St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO, and St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights, MO.
Justin and I are deeply concerned about the status of our local hospitals. Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the drastic increase in patients affected by the virus has lead to supply shortages at many hospitals across the US. Not only does this diminish the quality of treatment for patients, but it also puts health care workers at risk. Every day, doctors and nurses are willing to put their lives on the line, but shortages in safety equipment—such as respirators and surgical masks—leads to a lack of protection. The least we can do to help these heroes is to provide them with the equipment they need.
We are currently in contact with Zhangjiagang Shengang Medical Product Co., which manufactures KN95 respirators and surgical masks. With our current funds, we only have 25 KN95 respirators, but with your support, we hope to order many more to support as many doctors as possible.
How will this help health care workers?
1. Every $2 you donate allows one doctor or nurse to receive a KN95 respirator. Our goal is to raise $1000 in order to donate 500 KN95 respirators.
2. Every dollar over our $1000 goal will be used to purchase extra surgical masks and respirators.
