Fundraiser for School Library Books

Tax deductible

The School are very excited to be relocating and refurbishing the School Library over the Summer holidays.

We are always grateful to receive second hand books into the Library, the majority we receive in are fiction books (and if you have any age appropriate books to spare please let us know).

I am therefore looking to raise £800 (which could increase to anywhere up to £1,000 with Gift Aid), to purchase books to support the children’s non-fiction reading around history, geography, science and topic areas.

With over 400 children at the School, this works out at only a £2.00 donation per child, although I appreciate that not everyone may be in a position to be able to help out. But you’re more than welcome to contribute even if you don’t have a child in the School!

Buying good quality, second hand Library books means that we will be helping the environment whilst enabling all children at the School to access wider reading options to support their learning. Raising this sum would provide approximately 200 books for local children.

If you are able, please consider making a donation that will make a difference for the children for years to come.

If you are a UK taxpayer then please tick the gift aid box as we can then claim tax back on your donation (at no additional cost to you).

Thank you.
