Hello, my name is Marcia Hartman i am Ronda Martin's youngest sister. It has been laid on my heart to do something to help my sister Ronda and her family the only problem is I can not do what I would like to do on my own or i surely would do so, with that being said i am coming to the public to ask for your financial support to help with the cost of medicine, Dr Appts. traveling back and forth to Chicago and just life because life happens, also i am asking for your prayers that God will protect her and keep her strong.. I know that God will give her the strength to carry on because He already has.
Ronda has been battling Breast Cancer for 7 years which has Metastisized to her bones, Ronda has had Lymph nodes removed, for it spread there, and the result of removing her lymph nodes in her arm she ended up with Lymphodema which has made her arm twice the size that it should be, they tried to fix that but it did not work out for her. Ronda also had cancer in her spine in which they done surgery on her spine i dont know alot about the whole situation nor do i understand some of it the only thing i know is my sister is very sick. Ronda looks healthy if you see her and people would not know she has cancer if they did not know it but Ronda is not one to complain about much. Ronda will be going to Chicago September 26th for her next appointment to find out what they can do for her, she was recently put on another Chemo pill along with the other one she has been on.
Ronda and her Husband Eric and children have had much heartache in the past 14 year, their son was diagnoised with leukemia when he was a junior in high school, Zachary fought his battle with a postive spirit and lived like tomorrow would never come and many of you know Zachary did lose his life to Leukemia when he was 20 years old. While i sit and write this it brings tears to my eyes, not only did Ronda lose Zach she lost our mom two weeks before Zach so like most children we want our mom when things like this happens, but mom was gone, although she has her husband and us sometimes a mother is the one needed to comfort us the way any mother would comfort her child with such a loss.
Ronda is one of the kindest, loving, generous, selfless persons i know and would do anything for anyone. So with all this being said i am coming to the public asking for help to offset some of the medical expense they have incurred the last 7 + years. First and foremost i ask for your prayers for her and i thank you in advance for anything that you may do whether it be financial, prayers, a visit or just a text or call is all apreciated.
