Raleigh Fundraiser for Nepal

My name is Alexi Wright and I am fundraising for a Raleigh International Project to help bring fresh water and sanitation to villages in Nepal.
My contribution to Raleigh is to donate my time, and to help in fundraising.
Why do I need the money?
Raleigh need volunteers to help build the projects and I am donating my time and energy to help, but they also need money for the materials etc. and that’s where you come in. I’m paying to travel to Nepal and am donating my time, but I need help raising money for Raleigh. Please help me help people in Nepal.
What is Raleigh International?

Long answer - it is a program that organizes projects in countries that have environmental, economic or social problems that they cannot deal with themselves, for example: increasing access to safe water, safe hygiene and sanitation facilities. Raleigh seeks volunteers to assist them in these programs, which at the same time increasing awareness of these countries’ situations through the volunteers that attend.
Why am I participating?
I have always had involvement in community service projects through Scouting, and upon hearing about Raleigh International I became motivated to take part and utilize time in my gap year to something worthwhile. It sounded like a perfect mixture of helping others and helping myself through experiencing how others live, and knowing my place in the world better.
Why should you fund me? What does this money mean to me?
Raising this money for Raleigh means that I can help Raleigh directly help people in Nepal. This is a unique program that will make a real difference to the lives of people in Nepal. I will be keeping a photo journal and documenting our work so that through me you can see what your donation achieves and the people we jointly help.
