Fundraiser for Megan & her kids

Donation protected
As some of you may know, my sister Megan Van Eijk has not had the easiest month.

About two weeks ago, the day after Mother's Day, Megan got into a very bad car accident on her way to work. Megan was rescued by a group of EMT workers after being pinned under a mobile home, and rushed to Wake Med hospital. Miraculously, Megan survived the wreck with a gash to her head, cuts on her shin, hands and eye, which is unbelievable considering the damage to the car. After spending a few days in intensive care, Megan returned home where my Mom and Dad, Lynn and Fred Van Eijk, have been helping her recover while also looking after her children, Kaya (13) and Kaden (8). Luckily, she is a very strong woman and on her way to a speedy recovery and we are eternally grateful.

Now, fast forward 11 days later and the universe hits them with another devastating situation...a house fire.

Megan and my Mom get a call from our long-time family friend, Vicki, on Friday, May 26th saying she saw on the news that her apartment complex was up in flames. It was a devastating fire, starting in an apartment near Megan's and spreading violently and rapidly. They lost everything. Clothing, furniture, kids toys, photo albums, jewelry, everything. We are thankful that they weren't home, and that no one in the complex was hurt.

Megan is a Single Mom pursuing a full time career and now has no car and no home. I don't know many people who have had to go through both of those things, let alone have them happen within two weeks of each other. So please, we're asking for help! I'd like to help raise as much money as possible for her and her children to help them get back on their feet. No donation is too big or small. ❤️

I also have listed below clothing and shoe sizes for Megan and her kids if you'd prefer to donate something other than money.
