<div>I can't even imagine the devastation of losing my home, all personal belongings, and realizing that the culprit to years of unexplained, severe health issues is MOLD. <strong>Lee and Jerin Yoder just got the test results back from a professional mold test and it is overwhelming.</strong> Their home is full of mold: Aspergillus and Stachybotrys. Unseen but completely present in the walls, crawl space, and HVAC. The mold level was at 280. 10-20 would be livable. When they were given their results, they were told to leave their home and everything in it. Insurance won't cover any mold damage.

<div>For the past three years, I have been battling constant, unexplained dizziness and nausea. Some days it’s so overwhelming and has made even the simplest parts of life a struggle. But having four children to care for has left me no option but to get out of bed and do what I need to do.

<div>I’ve been on multiple diets and seen countless professionals in search of answers: two endocrinologists, an audiologist, two ENTs, a neurologist, an allergist, four primary care doctors, two functional medicine doctors, and chiropractors. I’ve had dental work done, multiple MRIs, hearing and vision tests, an Alpha Gal test, and more bloodwork than I can count. Every result has come back normal, but I have always known there was something we were missing.

<div>On September 10th, 2022, I went to the ER because my throat felt like it was swelling shut. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. The doctor gave me a steroid and sent me on my way; no one could tell me why it happened. Since then, I have dealt with my throat feeling constricted on a frequent basis. Eventually, doctors began suggesting antidepressants, assuming the problem was “all in my head.” But I know myself, and I knew this wasn’t just anxiety or depression.

<div>On May 7th, 2025, we made a disturbing discovery. Our home is full of mold. It is throughout the HVAC system, in the walls, and under the house. The crawl space is full of water.

<div>This could be a major piece of the puzzle, as mold toxicity can cause chronic neurological and physical symptoms like the ones I’ve been facing. My children have also shown various physical symptoms. It has been highly recommended that we leave everything behind and start over. This has been a long, exhausting journey, but I still have hope! If there’s anything I have learned going through this, it’s that God is a good Father and He cares deeply for my family and me, no matter what we are going through. It has definitely been a discouraging past couple of years, but I am so thankful our prayers are being answered and healing is coming!

<div>I’ve watched Jerin walk through these last few years with such grace, even while dealing with an overwhelming amount of health issues and seemingly no answer. Now we have an answer, but it will be a long, difficult road to recovery to heal from all the horrible mold toxicity.
