<div>Our big softie Kobe went in to foster with Syd back in November last year and settled in very well. He was our longest dog in the kennels, and still has all our hearts.

<div>Unfortunately Syd contacted us a week ago with worries for Kobe’s health, and after a few vet trips he got an emergency referral to the Vet School, who have since discovered a tumour on his spine. 
</div>
<div>Kobe is due to get operated on tomorrow, vets are confident that they can remove the tumour, but it will likely involve some weeks of bed rest in the vet hospital until he can get back home to Syd. 
</div>
<div>With Kobe being in kennels as long as he had been, the operation will give Kobe a few extra years of quality life with somebody that loves him as much as Syd does. 
</div>
<div>As you can imagine vet fees aren’t cheap and the cost of the operation and additional care will be somewhere in the region of £5000. 
</div>
