Fundraiser for Erin Tiesi

Hello everyone. I am opening this GoFundMe on behalf of Erin with the permission of her parents. Erin has pancreatic cancer and the family will need help to pay for her funeral. If any funds which are donated remain after funeral expenses or any items her and her family need they will be given to Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes per her parents request.  The Tiesi family would like to thank Erin's friend Kimmy Trickler for suggesting this fundraiser.  

Erin's Health: Erin is 48 years old. Erin started feeling ill in January 2023 and thought she had the flu or a virus. In February she had increasing back pain, decrease in appetite, and started feeling weak. She also noticed her feet becoming very swollen. In the beginning of March she had an evening in which the back pain made it difficult to breath and when she went to the Geneva ER they found blood clots, Geneva transport her to Strong. While at strong they gave Erin medicine to the help with the clots, as they searched to find the cause of the clots they found a mass on her pancreas. Erin went home while waiting for the results of a biopsy which confirmed it was cancer. In the middle of March she went to an Oncologist of UR/Wilmot Cancer Center where they found the cancer had already spread to her liver and she was immediately admitted to Thompson Health. Erin spent a week in Thompson Health and is now at Pathway home for hospice/comfort care.
