Fundraiser for dialysis/family care

On Sunday September 23rd, my husband, Matthew harrell, was admitted to the hospital and since has suffered renal faliure. He had been told by doctors early on that is was no big deal, and that with just fluids  his kidneys would begin to work again. Upon arrival his kidneys were functioning at 80% and dropped all the way down to 25% by Sunday night. He bagan dialysis which he was also told he would probably only need 3 times at most before his kidneys began working again, but that wasn’t the case either..  today Matthews kidneys are functioning at less than 10%, he is on his 11th day in the hospital, and being told he cannot have any type of medical insurance due to pre existing conditions. Medicaid will not cover him, social security denied him, and ssi will take up to three months. According to his doctor he is going to discharge him tomorrow because “there’s nothing more he can do and he is not improving “ Matthew will literally die without dialysis. He is swollen up to twice his size, can’t eat, can barely sleep, and that’s after having dialysis just yesterday. His toxin level is thru the roof, and dialysis can’t seem to keep up. At this stage we’ve decided to reach out and ask for help. We are now having to pay out of pocket for his treatments and with me being the only one working, paying all of the bills, and trying to support the kids and Matthew as well as care for him at home, we really need help. Again, anything helps, with two teenage daughters to raise on top of this we could use all the help we can get! Thank you and god bless!!
