<div>Our friend and fellow business owner Dayde Collins recently had a tragic accident. As the owner of Blade's Tree Removal, Dayde fell 40 feet from a tree when his anchor branch broke, hit a shed, and then fell to the ground.

<div>UPDATE: He had blunt force to the left side of his body: he broke many ribs, has a scapula fracture, and nearly severed his spinal cord in the thoracic region.

<div>Dayde had back surgery and the surgery went well. He has no feeling from his chest down currently.

<div>He will be in the ICU for the next week, then transferred to a spinal specialist for another two weeks.
