Fundraiser for Corrie Morrison & Children

Donation protected
Our Family and Friend Corrie suffered a catastrophic medical event on February 2, 2022. Corrie now faces months of hospitalization followed by more months spent in a rehabilitation facility... and that is a best-case scenario. Corrie is only 40 years old and in good shape. She eats healthy, exercises, and takes care of herself. She suffered a brain aneurism and now has severe brain swelling.

Corrie is a single mom with one adult child, and two children 9 and 13. She also is a grandma. Corrie maintains good relationships with both of her sons' fathers. Corrie is not only an excellent mother and grandmother, but she is also an excellent care giver to her own grandmother who is now in her 90s and needs daily care. I really do not know how she does it. She spends time with her grandmother daily, is completely involved in children's lives never missing a game or performance, goes to school to better herself, works at least one job at a time, and still makes time for other family and friends, including helping to put together a startup marketing business.

Corrie was an Xray tech before getting involved with the entertainment industry, and then going back to school to obtain her degree in robotic engineering. Corrie is only a couple classes shy of that degree now.
Corrie is the most giving person I know, but now she needs our help. Corrie was always the person that you could call in your time of need, and trust me, many people took advantage of that. Corrie would always drop what she was doing to be there for a friend in need. I remember a time when we had a friend, Bruce, who was living his last days. Corrie was the one who was consistently there, playing hospice nurse, keeping him comfortable. There is nothing Corrie would not do for a friend.

Corrie also spent her time volunteering with Toys 4 Tots. She even dragged me along to help fill wish lists for disadvantaged kids. We would go shopping for toys and other gifts for the kids. She took the lead on putting together a benefit comedy show for Toys 4 Tots with the goal of raising funds to make Christmas better for as many kids as possible.

Corrie enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Southern California to visit her brother several times a year. She loved having parties for her kids' birthdays. She would always go overboard to make her kids feel special and to know that they were loved. Corrie loved spending time with friends, going to concerts, comedy shows, playing pool, riding rollercoasters, clubbing, playing guitar, road tripping, and anything else that involved her spending time with others.

We don't want all the memories we have to be the end of the good times with Corrie. To do that we need everybody's help. We need financial assistance to help pay for her immediate medical care (Her insurance is not the best and her bills are going to be astronomical). We also need financial assistance to pay for her continued care when she leaves the hospital. She will need months of rehab in a rehabilitation facility. (Currently, she has no use of her left side and cannot communicate). Most of all, we NEED your prayers, your positive thoughts, and your good vibes for Corrie's recovery.

In the event that Corrie does not survive, all donations will be used to pay for her funeral/services. Any funds left over will be split evenly for her three children. The adult child would receive any monies immediately, the two minor children would have the monies put into a guardian account until they reach the age of 18. We pray we do not have to go down this road, but we also realize that we must be realistic with the situation that we are facing and must address all possible outcomes.

We (I and all of Corrie's Family and Friends) thank you all in advance for your love, generosity, and mostly, your prayers!

Thank you ALL!
